If You Elect Me in the 2015 Bloggies

The finalists for the 2015 Bloggies have been decided! If you haven't already, drop whatever you're doing (unless it's holding a baby, don't drop that) and go vote for Unremarkable Files in the "best new weblog" category!

(I was also nominated in the "best religion/spirituality blog" category, and you're invited to vote for me there, too, if you think it's a good fit.)

I realize, though, that you could hardly be expected to vote for me without hearing my campaign promises. So forgive the lack of traveling around the world to shake hands and kiss babies, but here's my platform in a nutshell:
  • I promise to post regularly about the shenanigans of my crazy life, up to and including smashed iPads, socially awkward moments, and getting stuck in a pair of skinny jeans at the mall.
  • I promise to publish pictures of my messy house, so you can feel better about your messy house. (Hey, it's not so bad, after all!)
  • Weird stuff I find around the house and creepy board games I see at consignment stores are fair game for this blog. Names may be changed to protect the innocent.
  • I promise not to take myself too seriously. Or at all seriously.

Meanwhile, my super PAC is busy developing a bumper sticker for my campaign:

If You Elect Me in the 2015 Bloggies -- why you should vote for Unremarkable Files as "best new weblog" by March 22nd (I've even got a snazzy bumper sticker for you)  {posted @ Unremarkable Files}

I'm still working on the title I'll be using to refer to myself if I win: 'her ladyship' is a little too Downtown Abbey, but 'Supreme Sovereign of the Blogosphere' is a little bit of a tongue twister. I'll be taking suggestions upon my victory.

Thanks for your support! And seriously, go vote by March 22nd!
