10 Pumpkin-Flavored Products You Will Never See

10 Pumpkin-Flavored Products You Will Never See -- What's with the pumpkin obsession? If it's fall, there's pumpkin flavored everything as far as the eye can see. Except for maybe these 10 products, which I guarantee would never, ever make it as limited edition pumpkin-flavored items. {posted @ Unremarkable Files}It's fall! And you know what that means: pumpkin-flavored everything. Baked goods, hot drinks... and I'm pretty sure I saw a bag of pumpkin spice kale chips in the grocery store today.

But despite America's love affair with pumpkin everything during autumn, here are 10 products I'm fairly certain will never be sold in a limited edition pumpkin flavor:

  1. Superglue
  2. Drano (for clogged drains)
  3. Canned tuna
  4. Windshield wiper solution
  5. Mayonnaise
  6. Paint thinner
  7. The foam inside fire extinguishers
  8. Bleach
  9. Taco shells
  10. Dog food

Also, a few products that will probably never be pumpkin-scented:

  1. Diaper rash cream
  2. Garbage bags
  3. Perfume and feminine products
  4. Gasoline
  5. Urinal cakes

Just something to think about while you're on your way to Dunkin' Donuts for a dozen pumpkin glazed donut holes this afternoon. (And leave a comment with your favorite pumpkin flavored thing below!)

I'm sorry... urinal cakes? What even is a urinal cake? I don't dare google it, so I thought I'd ask you!

You know, it's the disc they put in urinals in public bathrooms so they don't, you know, smell like urinals.

Someone pointed out to me that she did just see a recipe for pumpkin flavored dog treats, so you're right!

Ha! This made me smile. Before we moved here I had not experienced the whole 'fall means pumpkin flavoured everything' thing... now it is inescapable :)

The use of "cake" is SO misleading

Definitely not a snack or dessert of any kind!

Welcome to America. We're weird sometimes.

I think someone somewhere will make the pumpkin mayo. Brace yourself. If it happened with the dog treats....
But yeah, I think we're pretty safe with the urinal cakes and the Drano.

One of my Favorite Books from childhood is "Pickle Things." Your title reminded me of that, "Pickle things you never see like pickles on a Christmas tree... a pickle ear, a pickle nose, pickle hair, and pickle toes.... You'd never use a pickle for a (something I don't remember right now goes here...) or wear a pickle for a shoe. Never Pickles on your feet, of course not silly, their to eat!"

All that being said, I love pumpkin spice season. The coffee creamer might be my favorite, though until it came out, I'd been off creamer almost 100% for months. The best intentions are powerless against pumpkin spice!

One of the things I love about your blog is your humor and this post is no exception. I love the fall, but not a fan of pumpkin anything (I know, I know! I'm a bit of an odd ball...), and the fact that the flavor, scent and overall presence of it all seems to be everywhere makes this post even more hilarious!

Thanks for sharing this with us on #SHINEbloghop and giving us all a laugh, Jenny! Hope you're enjoying your weekend :)
