Today was the kids' first day back at school after Christmas break, and let me tell you, it was brutal when that alarm went off in the morning. But none of that matters right now, because I have something to tell you.
Nominations for the 2015 Bloggies are open, and I need your help.
The Bloggies is the longest-running and largest blog award on the Internet, with the winners determined by online votes.

Here's what you need to do:
Go to http://2015.bloggi.es
Scroll down to "Best New Weblog" and enter the name and URL of Unremarkable Files. (Don't forget that it's unremarkablefiles.blogspot.com, because getting your own domain name ain't free.)
You also need to vote for two other blogs, but they don't need to be in the same category. I'd actually prefer that they weren't, since I find that having no competition increases my odds of winning popularity contests.
Feel free to enter Unremarkable Files in any other categories you think are a good fit, and then make sure to tell your friends, family, neighbors, mailman, pets, and other random people on the street to do the same.
By now you've done so much for me already, but there's one more thing. You'll get a confirmation email, which you need to click to prove you're a human voter and not a robot, chimp, or piece of wood. I've heard that some confirmation emails go to your spam folder, so, you know. Check it.
Thanks again, loyal readers.
If I win, I'll take myself out for frozen yogurt in your honor.
